His practice focuses on Entertainment, IP and Commercial Litigation, including copyright, trademark, breach of contract and other related claims. In 1994, he co-founded Liquid Sky Music, an Electronic Drum & Bass label which gained critical acclaim and success. In 2000, he co-founded DLC, an award winning music technology firm. He continues working in EDM with his representation of the EDM festival, Electric Zoo, Unmanageable Artist's and other well-known DJ's and producers. Adelman Matz’s practice focuses on all areas of business, including those related to the entertainment industry. In addition to handling general corporate matters, Adelman Matz provides legal services related to registration and protection of intellectual property (both copyrights and trademarks), litigation of all types of disputes in both Federal and State Courts including contract, commercial and partnership disputes, copyright and trademark infringement, ex parte and inter party proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Trial and Appeal Boards, rights reversion requests, and drafting and negotiation of many types of agreements.
